From March 8-10th, the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey will host Monster-Mania Con 24 (MMC24) – a huge horror convention that comes to New Jersey and Maryland each year. Monster-mania Con provides horror film fans the best opportunity to meet the biggest names in all of horror history, get autographs, participate in Q&A sessions with the stars, shop large dealer areas and watch horror films all night!
Last year I had the opportunity to attend the conference and met some of the cast of The Walking Dead. I also got to watch a sick panel that discussed past seasons and what to expect from Season 3. The cast members in attendance included Emma Bell (Amy), Madison Lintz (Sophia), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Jeffrey DeMunn (Dale) and Norman Reedus (Daryl).
This year Monster-Mania Con is stepping it up a notch and offering some of the most popular characters from Season 3 of The Walking Dead. Dania Gurira (Michonne), Michael Rooker (Merle), Laurie Holden (Andrea), Scott Wilson (Herschel), Chandler Riggs (Carl), Lew Temple (Axel) and Vincent Ward (Oscar) are scheduled to headline the event. There will be a meet-and-greet (paid, of course) with most of the cast members. From what I’ve read, attendees will need a special VIP pass in order to be guaranteed to meet Michonne. If the event is the same as last year, attendees are promised a very exciting live-panel Q&A discussion with the cast!
If you’re a fan of The Walking Dead, don’t miss out on this opportunity to get an up-close and personal chance to meet some of your favorite cast members from the hit AMC television series The Walking Dead! Visit MonsterMania.net and get your tickets today!
